Naked Oak is a warm beige European Oak engineered hardwood floor from Oakel City's West Coast range, supplied from their Burnaby warehouse. It comes in ABCD, ABC and AB grades: ABCD embraces knots, colour shifts and natural character for a rustic look; ABC mixes clean boards with natural knots and character; AB keeps knots and colour variation to a minimum.
Each board is 7-1/2″ wide planks (190 x 1900 mm), 14 mm thick with a 3 mm real wood wear layer over a multi-ply core. The wear layer is thick enough to be sanded and refinished in the future. Boards join with a tongue-and-groove profile, so the floor can be glued down or installed floating, and it is compatible with hydronic radiant heat.
A box covers 31.09 sq ft (8 planks). Oakel City backs it with a limited 35-year finish warranty and a lifetime structural warranty. This colour and grade is on Oakel City's current clearance list, so quantities are limited. Order a free sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
