Twelve Oaks is the brand to look at when you want a lot of floor for the money without dropping to builder grade. The vinyl range starts at $1.99 per sq ft, several collections come with cork or IXPE underlay already attached, and the better ones carry a lifetime residential warranty. There is also 12 mm laminate and a small, serious hardwood range in hickory and American walnut.

Two things stand out. First, the cork underlay on the Sure Wood collections: cork absorbs impact sound better than foam, which helps in condos and on upper floors. Second, the 20 mil wear layer across the click range, which is the level most installers recommend for a family home with pets, rather than the 12 mil found on entry-level vinyl.
Solid Core Ultra5G is the widest at 12" and adds Armor Care surface protection, aimed at cleanability and slip resistance.
2. Foundation and Endure: glue-down vinyl
- Foundation Premium — 12" wide, 20 mil, 20.1 sq ft per box, lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty.
- Foundation 2520 — 2.5 mm plank, 7-3/8" wide, 20 mil, and a big 37.2 sq ft box, the efficient choice for large areas.
- Endure — 7-3/8" wide, 12 mil, 37.2 sq ft per box, with a 12-year commercial warranty.
Glue-down floors sit lower, take rolling loads better and let a single damaged plank be replaced, which is why they dominate shops, clinics and offices. They do need a flatter, cleaner subfloor than click floors.
3. Azure laminate
Azure is Twelve Oaks' 12 mm laminate: 7-3/4" wide, 15.4 sq ft per box, a matte finish, a click system and a lifetime residential warranty, priced $3.29 to $4.19 per sq ft. At 12 mm it feels solid underfoot and quieter than thin laminate, and the matte surface hides scuffs better than gloss.

Both are tongue and groove with a 35-year residential and 5-year light commercial warranty, priced $6.49 to $8.99 per sq ft. Master Artisan's 3 mm hickory can be refinished later and is the harder wearing of the two; the walnut Antique Perspective gives the darker, richer look with big 31 sq ft boxes.
