Cloud Stone 1530: Pale Stone, Not Pale Grey
Cloud Stone 1530 reads as weathered limestone rather than as a colour — a light neutral with a faint warm-grey cast and enough marbleized movement in the chip decoration to suggest natural stone. It is the shade specifiers choose when the design intent is a stone floor but the performance requirement is a welded, impervious, chemically resistant vinyl. Reception areas, healthcare atria, spa and wellness interiors, and hospitality circulation all use it for that reason.
Compared with Quartz it has more body and more warmth; compared with Silver Mist it is softer and less metallic. In a large open floorplate, that subtle stone-like variation stops the surface reading as an expanse of flat vinyl, which is the usual failure mode of pale sheet flooring at scale.
Stone Look, Vinyl Behaviour
This is the trade that makes Cloud Stone worth specifying: it looks like stone but weighs a fraction of it, needs no grout, cannot be stained by an acidic spill, welds into a continuous seamless surface and can be coved up the wall for a fully sealed junction. Rated EN ISO 10874 Class 34 heavy commercial and Class 43 light industrial, 2.0mm homogeneous through-colour, R9 slip resistance and a factory-cured PUR polyurethane surface that never needs polish.
