Rich Chocolate 1520: Espresso Depth Without the Cold
Rich Chocolate 1520 is a true deep brown — darker and cleaner than Smoked Truffle, without the grey haze. It is the warm alternative to a charcoal floor, and it behaves the same way: it grounds a room, kills reflection and lets pale walls, joinery and furniture carry the visual load. Hotel corridors, restaurants, executive suites, showrooms and boutique retail interiors use it for exactly that.
The chip decoration keeps it from becoming a dead flat brown. The marbleized tonal highlights give the surface enough movement that it reads as a considered material rather than a dark plane, which matters more in a customer-facing interior than in a service corridor.
Dark Floors, Done Properly
The failure mode of dark flooring is visible damage: a printed vinyl or laminate scratches and immediately shows a pale line. Rich Chocolate is homogeneous through all 2.0mm, so the material under the surface is the same colour as the surface. Combined with hot-air welded seams, chemical resistance tested to ISO 26987 and ASTM F925, and steam-clean resistance, it stands up to the reality of a commercial kitchen or a busy hospitality floor. The factory-cured PUR polyurethane means no polish — and on a dark floor, no polish also means no cloudy haze building up in traffic lanes.
