Satinwood 1370: Honeyed Warmth in a Technical Floor
Satinwood 1370 takes its name from the pale golden hardwood, and the colour follows: a warm honey-tan with a soft amber cast, deeper and more golden than Soft Almond. It gives a commercial interior something a grey never can — genuine warmth — while still behaving like the technical product it is. Community halls, libraries, staff rooms, church interiors and hospitality back-of-house all use warm mid-tans for the same reason: the space feels lived-in instead of processed.
The duotone chip decoration reads particularly well in this tonal family. The marbleized highlight chips break up the field into something closer to a fine natural stone or cork than a flat vinyl, which is part of why Satinwood works in public-facing rooms rather than only service areas.
Where the Colour Earns Its Keep
Mid-tone warm shades are among the most forgiving floors you can specify for soil. Sand, dust, dry mud and the general grit of a public building are all tonally close to Satinwood, so they don't telegraph across the floor between cleans. Combine that with a polish-free PUR surface and you have a floor that looks acceptable with minimal daily intervention — the practical definition of a good commercial specification.
Construction is unchanged from the rest of the range: 2.0mm homogeneous through-colour, EN ISO 10874 Class 34 and Class 43, hot-air welded impervious seams, FloorScore Gold, 25% recycled content.
