Soft Almond 1560: The Warm Light Neutral
Soft Almond 1560 is the warm counterpart to Quartz — a pale, creamy beige that lifts a room without the coolness of a grey or the starkness of a white. It is the shade most often specified in senior living, assisted care, hospitality and faith buildings, where the interior is meant to feel welcoming rather than efficient. Under warm-white lighting it glows slightly; against oak, walnut or brass it disappears into the palette entirely.
There is a documented practical reason warm light neutrals dominate senior care specification: they read as bright and open to ageing eyes without producing the glare a high-gloss white floor creates. Soft Almond is 2.0mm homogeneous vinyl, colour through the full thickness, with no printed layer to wear away. It is rated EN ISO 10874 Class 34 heavy commercial and Class 43 light industrial, is fully impervious once hot-air welded, and can be coved up the wall for a continuous cleanable junction. The factory-cured polyurethane means no polish, ever — a critical point in a facility where the corridor cannot be closed for an overnight strip-and-seal.
