Sigtuna uses Bjelin's popular Misty White, a soft whitewashed oak with a hint of beige, in the classic herringbone format. The result is a gentle, versatile floor that works with almost any palette.
The Classic format uses smaller 13.2" x 2.7" (340 x 68 mm) blocks for the traditional, finely detailed herringbone look. Every block has a sharp, unbevelled edge, so the finished floor looks like traditionally laid parquet rather than a click floor.
Woodura is Bjelin's hardened wood: a real FSC-certified European oak surface is pressed and fused onto a stable Välinge Compositek® core, making it up to three times more impact resistant than standard engineered hardwood. The Class 33 Pro Matte finish keeps a natural, low-sheen look and makes the floor suitable for busy homes as well as offices, shops and restaurants. Water resistance is rated high, and the floor is approved over underfloor heating.
Installation is glue-free with the leakproof Välinge 5G Dry® click system. Each order ships as A and B boxes for the left- and right-hand blocks, and Bjelin recommends ordering at least 20% extra for herringbone.
