Breakers keeps Red Oak in a fresh, sunlit natural register — a warm-light tone that lets the species' distinctive open grain speak plainly across the 7 1/2" boards. Variation grading drifts colour gently from plank to plank, and the brushed face under a matte lacquer keeps the surface textured, soft, and comfortable in bright rooms.
The Estate Collection platform underneath is a 15 mm (5/8") plank with a 3 mm Red Oak wear layer over a stable Red Maple plywood core, built with a traditional tongue-and-groove profile.
