Vernon sits between Hildene's depth and the naturals — a medium copper-brown that reads as classic American hardwood, the kind of tone that has anchored family homes for generations. Variation grading keeps genuine colour movement across the 7 1/2" boards, and the brushed face under a matte lacquer preserves Red Oak's distinctive open grain with a soft, low-glare finish.

Like all Estate Collection floors it's a 15 mm (5/8") plank with a 3 mm Red Oak wear layer over a Red Maple plywood core, built with a traditional tongue-and-groove profile. Nail it, glue it, or float it; re-sand it two to three times over the decades. Radiant heat approved, 25-year US residential warranty.
