Ladoga 1410: Muted Slate-Blue With Real Depth
Named after Europe's largest lake, Ladoga 1410 is a mid-tone slate blue — darker and more saturated than Atlantic Surf, but still tempered by grey rather than reading as a primary. It is the blue you specify when you want the floor to carry identifiable colour without shouting: university science blocks, municipal buildings, transit waiting areas, leisure centre changing rooms. Deep enough to conceal traffic, saturated enough to give a corridor a sense of place.
The mid-to-deep tonal range is where the Classic Mystique chip decoration performs best. The duotone base and marbleized highlight chips give the surface enough visual noise that a wet footprint drying, a scuff from a rubber sole or a scatter of grit near an entrance simply doesn't register at walking pace.
Wet Areas and Changing Rooms
Ladoga carries an R9 rating to DIN 51130 and Class DS to EN 13893, and the sheet is fully impervious once the seams are hot-air welded. Coved up the wall with a capping strip, it forms a continuous tanked surface with no floor-wall junction — the specification approach that makes homogeneous vinyl the default in changing rooms, shower lobbies and back-of-house wet areas. Note that for barefoot and continuously wet zones a dedicated safety flooring with an enhanced slip rating should be specified instead; Ladoga is intended for shod traffic.
The underlying construction is the same 2.0mm homogeneous, PUR-reinforced, polish-free sheet used across the whole range, rated EN ISO 10874 Class 34 and Class 43.
