Pravada Floors is where to look for genuinely wide European white oak. The Artistique and Le Soleil collections run 9.5 inches wide, which is wider than most engineered floors sold in Canada, and the boxes cover 34 sq ft, so a big room goes down with fewer boxes and fewer seams. Everything is European white oak with a 35-year limited warranty, priced $6.49 to $8.99 per sq ft. The dividing line is the wear layer: at 3 mm (Artistique, Canvas, Le Reve) the floor can be sanded and refinished later; at 2 mm it takes a light screen and recoat instead.
2. UV oil or matte lacquer
Pravada finishes most collections in either a UV oil or a matte lacquer, and the choice affects how the floor ages:
- UV oil sits into the wood, so the grain feels more natural underfoot and small scratches can be spot-repaired with a maintenance oil rather than refinishing the whole room.
- Matte lacquer forms a protective film on top, needs less routine maintenance, and resists spills better day to day.
If you have dogs or young kids and want minimal upkeep, lacquer is the easier life. If you want the floor to look like real, touchable wood and you do not mind occasional maintenance, oil is the better match.
3. Le Reve herringbone
Le Reve is Pravada's herringbone: 7.5" blocks in the same European oak, 3 mm wear layer, 15.54 sq ft per box, glue down. That is a generously sized block for a pattern floor, which makes it suit larger living and dining rooms rather than narrow hallways. 4. Evolutionz Nauticor vinyl
Pravada also makes a vinyl plank: the Evolutionz Nauticor collection, 9" wide with a 20 mil wear layer and 26.54 sq ft per box, at $2.99 per sq ft. It is the practical option for a basement, laundry or rental where you want the Pravada look in a waterproof floor.

- Wide plank on a tighter budget: Le Soleil, same 9.5" width with a 2 mm wear layer.
