Part of Mohawk Group's Hot and Heavy II collection, Shale (Terrazzo 5.0) is a fresh interpretation of terrazzo. The classic stone-chip look is reworked with bright, digitally inspired accents, giving Shale a contemporary character that works in lobbies, corridors, classrooms, and retail spaces.

Each Shale tile measures 18" x 36" and is 5.0 mm thick. It has an embossed surface and is installed as a loose-lay floor, which makes installation faster and replacement of individual tiles easier.

The M-Force™ Ultra finish protects Shale against scuffs, stains, and everyday wear in high-traffic commercial spaces. It passes ASTM testing for chemical, light, and heat resistance and handles static loads up to 1,000 psi. It is backed by Mohawk's Limited 20 Year M-Force Ultra Commercial Warranty.
