Professional Grade Curing Agent for Two Component Systems
Bona Activator is the hardening agent, or Part B, specifically designed for use with two-component wood floor finishes. Its primary purpose is to trigger a chemical reaction known as cross-linking when mixed with the main finish (Part A). This process transforms the liquid coating into a much tougher, more resilient protective film once it dries.
By using this activator, the resulting floor surface gains significantly higher resistance to scratches, scuffs, and chemicals compared to standard single-component finishes. This makes it a mechanical necessity for high-traffic environments like basketball courts, gymnasiums, and multipurpose rooms where the wood is subject to intense athletic use and frequent cleaning.
