Summer Dawn is a warm beige European Oak engineered hardwood floor from Oakel City's West Coast range, supplied from their Burnaby warehouse. It comes in ABCD and AB grades: ABCD embraces knots, colour shifts and natural character for a rustic look; AB keeps knots and colour variation to a minimum.
Each board is 7-1/2″ wide planks (190 x 1900 mm), 14 mm thick with a 3 mm real wood wear layer over a 3-ply core. The wear layer is thick enough to be sanded and refinished in the future. Boards join with a tongue-and-groove profile, so the floor can be glued down or installed floating, and it is compatible with hydronic radiant heat.
