Cascade Adhesive XT360 1 Gallon (Modified Pressure Sensitive) Flooring Adhesive
Cascade - Adhesive XT360 1 Gallon (Modified Pressure Sensitive)
Cascade XT360 is a specially formulated Modified Pressure Sensitive Adhesive designed for the installation of various flooring materials, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This versatile adhesive is suitable for a wide range of flooring types, including dimensionally stable LVT Tile, Vinyl Plank (including foam-backed varieties), HDPC and SPC Dry Back, carpet tile (PVC, bitumen, and olefin-backed), VCT, quartz tile, bio-based tile, recycled rubber, fiberglass-backed sheet flooring, and vinyl-backed resilient sheet flooring.
Certified by CRI Green Label Plus and FloorScore, and compliant with SCAQMD 1168 standards, Cascade XT360 is a reliable choice for environmentally conscious projects. The adhesive demonstrates compatibility with approved substrates such as concrete, Portland-based underlayment, properly prepared gypcrete/lightweight concrete, APA-rated plywood, terrazzo, radiant heated floors, and a single layer of fully adhered resilient flooring.
Prior to application, all substrates must be prepared according to flooring manufacturers' guidelines and ASTM F710 standards. Moisture testing is mandatory for concrete subfloors, and moisture levels should not exceed 12 lbs. per 24 hours per 1000 sf, following ASTM F1869. Additionally, relative humidity in concrete floor slabs, measured using ASTM F2170, should not exceed 99%.
Cascade XT360 boasts a shelf life of 2 years when stored in proper conditions and protected from freezing. The adhesive is backed by a lifetime limited warranty from Cascade Adhesives when used in accordance with the provided label and Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
Installation instructions include dry-set applications for porous and non-porous surfaces, with a recommended trowel from the selector chart. For releasable applications, the adhesive should flash off for 45-60 minutes until clear. Semi-wet and wet-set applications on porous substrates require a flash-off time of 15-30 minutes. Both applications necessitate immediate rolling with a 100 lb. 3-section roller after flooring placement. HDPC/SPC dry back products should be installed within 3 hours of adhesive spreading for optimal adhesion.
Certain restrictions apply, and users are advised to consult the flooring manufacturer's recommendations. The adhesive is designed for interior use only and should not be installed when Moisture Vapor Emission Rate (MVER) exceeds 12 lbs. per 1000 sf per 24 hours or when Relative Humidity exceeds 99%, as per ASTM standards.
